Maradona Tour

Between 1984 and 1991, it was home to one of the greatest players of all time: Diego Armando Maradona.

Naples is the capital of Italian football culture, a city that lives and breathes the sport in all its nuances.

Immerse yourself in a fascinating iconographic journey to discover the unbreakable bond between Naples and Maradona.

As a testament to the almost sacred status of Diego, tributes and spontaneous gestures of love can be found in shops, workshops, pizzerias, and on the very walls of the city.

Diego is everywhere—whether it’s a newspaper clipping, a vintage photograph, or even a miraculous strand of hair. Neapolitans have dedicated murals, shrines, and hidden altars across the streets of Naples to Maradona.

During this 2-hour tour, we will walk through the Historic Center, Forcella, and Quartieri Spagnoli, exploring the most iconic places of Maradonismo and discovering why, after more than 40 years, Diego’s memory still lives on in the hearts of Neapolitans.

Remember: Diego was the only deity who ever proved his existence!

The Maradona tour through Naples with Allessandro exceeded our expectation. We took a private tour with our 3 kids with age 13 - 16 years old. Besides showing us many famous and less famous outings of Diego on walls, in family-run bakery kitchens, car parkings and small nooks in the city, his stories and passion about this human God but also about the city and the population of Naples made the tour very exciting and interesting. And the kids loved it too!

We booked the Spanish Quarter tour. A very fun and informative tour of a working-class neighbourhood in Naples with a lot to tell about. Thank you Alessandro for an enjoyable afternoon.
